René CORTIN
Digital Marketing Management
Summary
The ability to reach, appeal to, and secure customers online is vital to the success of any business aspiring to be great. Without the help of specialists, however, such a task can seem monumental and impossible. To aid business owners and corporations with the task of securing loyal and satisfied customers, I apply my skills and knowledge to make the connection happen.
Though my work experiences include service as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the French military and extensive work in the telecommunications industry, my focus in career an education has for the last two decades been in Internet technology, business, and digital marketing. In 1999, to continue with my passions, I graduated from the “Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis” (France) with a Master's degree in Computer Sciences and, in 2003, I earned my Master of Business Administration in International Business through the University of Birmingham (UK).
Through careful analysis of web data, development of business and marketing plans, use of various search engine optimization techniques designed to promote organic (natural) search, and use of Google AdWords campaigns and Yahoo! Search Marketing campaigns, I have consistently shown myself able to increase traffic, customer conversion rates and transaction size.
I am a student of best practices for digital marketing and eCommerce, and I use the social media landscape (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube…) to consistently improve customer engagement and the “on-web” customer experience. I do understand and adhere to design and web navigation principles that deliver a best-in-class user experience, and promote company’s brand standards.
