2006 - 2007Essent is a major European electricity supplier. Essent Trading ( www.essenttrading.com ) is an Essent company that trades commodities like electricity, gas, coal, carbon emissions market, foreign exchange, freight and so on.
Having aggregated several commodities and financial services products under one roof, Essent Trading has decided to expand which involves dramitically increasing its headcount.
My role is to energise the recruitment process: when I started slow talent acquisition was a brake on the business plan. This has involved the employer brand (esp regards attracting foreign nationals), agency management, recruitment process redesign, referral programme, selection approach, career site, MBA hiring programme etc. (i.e. very broad remit)

* Strategic Consulting: challenging the business plan & sales strategy development.
* Process Consulting: dealing with technology providers and Worldhotels members to devise solution(s) that work across different businesses, languages, legal environments, time zones, practices etc.
