My Principal Software Engineer position included the following key responsabilities:
- Design of overall architecture of the head-end sub-system
- Creation of high-level design documents
- Mentoring/Leading of a team of 7 (Sr.) Software Engineers and Test Engineers including remote team members
- Interfacing with the System Architecture and the Product Management groups.

During this project, I rellocated 3 months in Seattle (U.S.) and 3 months in Beijing (China) in order to ensure optimal knowledge accross the various teams, improve multi-site software development and roll-out of a new software development methodology (SCRUM).

Key project in this role involved the launch of new Software based product called the Irdeto Universal Client.

- Creation of high-level design documents
- Mentoring/Leading of a team of 4 (Sr.) Software Engineers
- Irdeto representative at external interoperability (IOP) events such as OMA BCAST TestFests
- Key technical contact for integration of new technologies with partners
- Interfacing with the System Architecture and the Product Management groups.

Key project in this role involved the launch of product based on the OMA BCAST standard (for Mobile TV).

My Sr. Software Engineer position included the following key responsabilities:
- Key contact point for product integration for customers and partners
- Creation of high-level design documents
- Review of low-level design documents
- Assistance/Guidance of Software Engineers
- Development and maintenance of software components
- Development and maintenance of unit test frameworks
